Went fishing at Mel Price this morning

    Yea, I could see where having your bait in the "UPPER" part of the water column might pose a problem. lol

    Kinda blows my Walleye fishing plans all to heck........don't even think it.......I ain't walking out on the ice and drillin' holes.:Happy:

    do NOT send that stuff down here, no ice and dont want any. so if you all tie your cast nets together put all the way across the river and hold all of that nasty stuff up there, i would really owe you one.

    All is not lost for the fishing......check this out, these shots are from south of the locks, heck even the ferry is running. Big difference in that short of a space on the river.

    Here's a picture from yesterday below Mel Price.... Looked great to me! Only one tainter gate open! To bad the water is WAY to low to launch at Maple Island.

    The Missouri and the Mississippi are both full of ice flow. Not possible to put a boat in from what I hear.
