As a person who has a small chance of ever getting a chance at one, curiousity has overcome me. How are the Wels catfish as table fare?

Ok guys...let's say that in west europe such as Spain,Germany and Italy we don't eat wel catfish (btw wels catfish it's not the correct name, we called them siluri which is the nickname from the scientific name silurus glanis); but people from east europe such as from hungary and especially romania consider the silurus delicius as it't part of their culture.

oh and btw we don't eat them because the pollution level of streams and rivers is so high that we don't dare to eat anything coming from the water!
