Hartwell??? Wheres the water? I was up there last week around Gumlog and Tugaloo and there wasn't any water. I thought lanier was bad.
I guess Ill look at lanier if that is possible.

lake blacksher is full pool . has ben all year . lowest was 8 inches 3 months ago .will be over there 27 28 and 29th 1st and 2nd. be doing some crappie fishing . having a crappie git togather over there .and a little turnament .:big_smile:

Well I went to lake burton and had a avg water temp of 40 to 44 degrees. Nothing really biting I met a guide who said things were slow, he had a lone pickerill at around 20 feet on a blue back. He said it was about three foot long.
Boat did well after the battery and I had a few words. The grizzly 1860 cc 90 hp merc cursied at 35 mph, I added a roostertail but the gps and sonar worked real well. I may try adding some epoxy in front of the transponder to adjust it.
I plan on trying Lake Lanier in the morning and Hopefully have some better intel in the evening.

There is plenty of water in West Point Lake. It is 3.8 feet below full.
