Well, I bought a Tiger medium/light...

    I drove 40mins to Cabelas ...and forgot my notes on different rods.. So I ended up with the Ugly "Tiger"
    BWD 8' Medium/light action
    its thin at the top...I guess it will have to do.. I don't feel like driving back to Cabelas to exchange it. I think its going to work for the smaller fishy.

    Lighter Gear just makes the fight more interesting.

    You'll have fun with it I am sure.

    My new rod came in today, and it was the wrong rod.

    I would have to drive for over two hours to exchange it.

    Talk about a pain.

    It's a Tiger rod, you'll love it. Bet it'll handle a bigger "fishy" than you think. It's a good thing I don't live 40 minutes from Cabela,s I'd be broke all the time and probably divorced!!:big_smile:

    You will probablty be able to land bigger fish than you think with it , shoul be a great rod.

    You got your self a great rod to fish with. Not only will it work for Catfish but it is a great multi speicies rod. Bass,panfish, Red Drum ,Trout etc. Enjoy

    I Think You'll Like Your New Rod. You Should Be Able To Handle Some Nice Size Fish With That Rod They're Built Super Tough.

    Great rod, I love mine holds up to 10pound carp that feel like 25pound catfish.
