Went to the doctor with a bad old cough that just wouldn't go away. He diagnosed me with viral bronchitis and sent me for a chest xray. The doc called and the xray wasn't good, so he sent me for a cat scan with contrast. That wasn't good either. Got all sorts of stuff that shouldn't be there in both of my lungs. Have an appointment with a pulmonologist, don't know if I spelled that right, but a lung specialist, Friday and he will schedule a lung biopsy or do whatever he has to do to give whatever is lurking in my lungs a definite name.

I don't feel bad or anything, so I am planning on being at the meeting on the 7th and I think I can still remember how to make a banana pudding to bring.

    Prayers would be appreciated.

    Phyllis,
My prayers are with you. Probably just some scar tissue from the bronchitis. My father went through that string of test a couple years back and that is what it was. He had pnumonia and it was remnants of that.
If you need ANYTHING let me know. I can allways spare some time for a friend.

Mrs Okie, Don't get too worried yet. It's really not uncommon for a person that has just stopped smoking to have this kind of problem. Just think about all the years of crud that your lungs are trying to get rid of. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Phyllis As everyone has said it may be nothing. Remember I had 3 doctors tell me they thought I had The big C and all it was scare tissue. My prayers and thoughts will be with you that all will be fine.
