Anybody have experience with weldbilt boats? They may a 1660 with 28" sides that looks like a tank, and their prices matched with nissan outboards seem to be pretty dang good. How's the quality? durability? customer service?

    Thanks

I'm thinking about buying one too, I'm looking at 1448V or a 1548V but they have one up there that would probably hold my halfton dodge lol Normandy landing craft

My brother and I had a Weldbilt for a while and they sre some tough little boats. I really don't think you can beat their price either. If I were ordering a new one, I'd opt for the .100 gauge hull, they come standard with and .80 gauge hull. The only problem that we've had outta ours was where the trolling motor mounted to the deck at some cracks developed. As far as the hull, no cracks, no leaks, and that boat has had a tough life:smile2:.
