Me and a a couple buddies put in on the White at the Elnora boat ramp Sat morning, headed up to a nice sandbar and set up camp. We fished Sat and Sun nights but only managed 12 fish the whole weekend. We caught 2 blue cats, a 12lb and 13lb, 2 flatties a 5lb and a 7lb, and 8 channels all between 3-5lbs. We caught the flatties on big goldfish, 2 channels on small gills, and the rest of the channels and the blues on toads, which to our surprise worked great. The highlight of the trip was when our buddies 12 year old brother caught his first cat ever, the big fish of the trip a 13lb blue. here is a pic of him with it and me with the 12lber I caught.
