    david, i sure hope you find someone to fish patoka with ya brother... i hate to see you drive all the way up here n get skunked... hopefully youll just say to hell with it, fish waters close to home, and break your PB:cool2:

    I've been skunked at Patoka too & I've caught some 5-6# cats from there too. I'm not sure what the price of gas is going to do after dealerships layed off 60,000 people since yesterday. :sad2:

    I fished at Patoka today from 6am to 12n. I think that a turtle took both of the small shads. I moved to 2 other location & had a little better luck with bites. I've missed serveral but caught a 8" bass & a 18" channel, both of which I did CPR on!:wink:

    Good job David. You should think abotu fishing for some crappie while you are at that lake. It's a great crappie lake!

    I've never tried to fish for crappie, but I did try for bass once with no luck.:confused2:
