Anyone ever try to use weedless hooks for catfishing?I was just wandering if they would be good to use on the river to keep from getting hung up so much.Or would i be better off sticking with kahles and circles?

i tried weedless kahles one year...didnt work (live bait).bait thrashes around so much it springs the wire, and i still kept getting hung up. what i found to work is to go buy some plastic worms and cut them into 1/4 inch or half inch chunks then push them onto your hook about halfway. helps when your in snags but you'll still get hung up sometimes. just remember to set the hook a little harder
