All BOC Members:

I Talked to Bill Baze this afternoon approx 1:30 PM and he stopped by to tell me that last night JPB had a Massive Cerebral Hemmerage and was in really bad shape but heart was still working. He told me that they didn't think he would last too long.

I just got another call letting me know so I could let you all know that at 6:38 PM JPB reeled his Line in and has headed to the promised land. I know nothing at this time about arrangements, but will post them when I know.

For all you you that knew John Preston Baze (JPB), You know you had met a real great man and he will be greatly missed. He was a Moderator on the BOC for a good length of time. The BOC and it's members will miss his Posts. He liked to come across as a hillbilly in his posting, but when you read some of his posts he was anything but an uneducated, know nothing kind of a guy. He loved to post on Politics, Religion, the constitution, and any post that might stir the blood. We will all miss those posts. He was a Compassionate, Helping, Caring, and Do anything for You Person. He was a great Family man, and is leaving His wife, Gail, and 4 children and several Family members behind. Pray for the Family as they have lost a Great Man.

More when I know more.

A Good Friend and BOC Brother:

Gene

This has hit Judy and I like a ton of bricks. There is a very big void in our hearts tonight that can not be filled. John was truly one of a kind and we will miss him very much. We loved John and he was a true friend. Our hearts ache for Gail and their precious little childern. They will all remain in our prayers, may our Lord give them peace and comfort them in this most difficult time.

Thank you Gene for letting us know. We know it is hard on you too as John was a good friend to you also. Jim and Judy
I'm thankful that I had a chance to hear your voice, if only for a little while. I know that you cared for those around you because you told me so. God bless your family and all the loved ones you leave behind...

Thanks again JPB,
Vic Brown

I don't know what to say right now. I really liked JPB's and his post. He made a lot of sense to me. I learned from that man. He and I bumped heads now and then on the election debates, but we both knew what the deal was. JPB was a good American. JPB is kind of why I started joking around a little. He pm me a couple of times about our debates and jokes. LOL, we had fun. All I can say is, he is/was a good man about the whole thing. He enjoyed some of my stuff, I enjoyed his and he let me know when he was tired of it.
He always showed respect to me and BOC. Couldn't help but like JBP and the man he was. I wish I could have met him in person. God Bless that man and his Family. JPB is a very respected man, a man with good pride, in my book. Sicfi and JPB are fishing buddies now. God Bless both. I hope they check in on us now and then. They will always be a part of BOC in my book.

Gail, god bless you and your family. I'm very sorry for your lost.

I posted a pic. JBP believed in America. RIP

I don't know what to say, another Dear Friend gone...

Those of us in the BOC that actually had the oppourtunity to meet John in person, and spend some quality time with him and his family are a blessed bunch because of the honorable man he was...

I recieved my first BOC ballcap from JPB at the Cherokee uprising in '03. I wear it proudly for all to see, and now more than ever it has a very special meaning I will cherish it always...

Gail,
Renee and I are truly sorry for your loss.
If we can do anything for ya or if ya just need to talk we're here for ya...

Gene, Thanks!
