WD-40

    Does WD-40 hurt or help spraying on your fishing line?

    I have heard that WD-40 and mono do not get along well. I have no idea about braid.

    Just out of curiosity, why would you spray this on your line?

    I have heard of ppl spraying it on there bait but not there line.

    I use reel magic and really like it but i'm leary about petroleum products.

    i heard it scares off fish i put some on my line and you could see it in the water

    after returning from fishing, certainly salt water fishing, i soak everything with it

    It does work spraying it on bait. But it is a polutent.

    As already stated, use Reel Magic on line and line guides. Works great.
