When your dropping in a boat dont leave your truck or boat trailor anywhere neer the boat ramp. I had my truck parked right next to the boat ramp in Chetopa and when I pulled back to the shore I saw a yellow tag under my windshield wipers. It was not exactly a small ticket eather. SO WATCH WHERE YOU PARK!!!!!

Why did you leave it near the ramp anyway? I see this all the time and sounds like you didn't want to park it in a space like your suppose to. I see people do this a block the ramp and just go out fishing. Pure laziness. Just my opinion.

On a lighter note, don't back your truck up to far into the lake either !

yeah that aint too cool parking near the ramp.
i dont know the circumstances but if it was like it sounds
then well oh well you know now.

we went to a lake in nashville illinois last summer and they had a
bass tournament going on there that day and every single spot was
taken in the parking lot and we were forced to park on the grass
or not fish we didnt get in trouble and we did see a warden pass
    by our truck and trailer.
we could have parked right there by the ramp but i would not
    have done that .

Some people do that around here too, and sometimes they dont necessarily park to close to the ramp but dont take into consideration people swinging and needing space to back their boat down the ramp. They leave their vehicle sticking out to where it makes it really difficult for others of us to back up and that really gets irritating.

You might try describing the circumstances a bit better. Were you parked there while you took your boat to a dock. Were you there for an hour, all day, etc. Why did you not park in the provided parking lot?

Even parked by the ramp is wrong. People that have bigger boats have a bigger trailer and need the room to swing around and back it in.

I've actually seen a beer can tab on every valve stem of the tow vehicle equating to 4 slow leaks and eventually 4 flat tires to folks that parked next to a ramp.
    Boat ramp justice.
Wardens usually dont give tickets under these circumstances because you cant be tried for the same crime twice.
