The ole annual late winter Wal-Mart fishing garage sale. If they have something you want, odds are you can get a deal.

thanks for the heads up man!

I picked up a 'graphite' rod from wally world last winter for $25...it was marked down from $80. Unfortunately, i broke the tip off this summer when campin...DOH.

think i will hit up a few of them and see if I can score again.

I know what you mean. I was in there the other day and saw a 55lb thrust, Minn Kota, transom mount, trolling motor for $124. Down from $185, to $154, til it finally landed at $124 A shame that I didn't *have* $124.:tounge_out: Perhaps next week it'll be down to $99

I bought one of those 50 lb. Rapala digital scales today for $17 on clearance. After I read your post the other day, I've been checking my local Walmart for clearance items every few days. It was the only one left. I'm pleased.

Just got back from another Wally world adventure. I got a Swissgear rechargeable lantern for 9, noticed a guy buying one and some Brinkman rechargeable lanterns as well, he bought those out. Also got a 660 yard spool of 30 pound Mossy Oak Line for 3.50. I think I remember someone saying Mossy Oak line was good, I hope so.
