    Hello BOC Members,

Went out on the Wabash yesterday afternoon. The water temperature was 77, and it was sunny and 78 degrees. We were fishing a section of river that we had not fished before in the West Lafayette area of Indiana. The first three hours we mainly scouted the area for deep water and good cover. We went about fifteen miles down river and only found a few good areas, so we fished for a couple of hours and boated a nice channel that went 4.12 pounds and was 23 inches long. After grilling out a couple of hamburgers on a sand bar we headed back up river to fish the best snag we had found earlier in the day. It was around 9:40 pm when John's bait clicker started singing. He boated a nice Flat Head that went 18.11 pounds and was 35 inches long. We left around 11:00 pm due to time constraints, however will probably return for a all night trip to fish the areas we scouted. I have attached some pictures.
