Wabash River, South of terre haute?

    Iam going to take my 10 yr old nephew to the wabash saturday night . Is there a good boat ramp south of terre haute? or would i be better off bank fishing. I have never fished the river there. I don't know where to start. I would prefer boat but need advise please. Saw in the dnr book a ramp at merom, how is it? Any suggestions of spots ect.? River conditions?

    I don't know about a boat ramp but the DNR said there are very high concentrations of gar along the bank through the T.H. area.

    If you go to T.H. Saturday night, I wish you and your nephew well. IF you have a change of heart in locale, my fishing buddy and I are talking about going down to the Worthington access of White River Saturday night. We were talking about a different section of river, since we been gettin' skunked from Waverly to Gosport. Regardless, the best of luck to you and your nephew on the Wabash!
