Wabash River near covington,IN

    anyone fish this area? I'm never fished wabash so looking for any pointers about river and area, also where are boat ramps located?

    There's a boat ramp in the park in covington. I go downstream and fish the log jam at the railroad trussel. there's also a nice outside bend just downstream from there too.

    You can also launch at Lodi off of 234 and go downstream towards the power plant. I have caught some fish up to 30lbs in that area. Good luck to you and post a report if you go!

    We just fished downstream from the next boat ramp down at Lodi on Thursday night. Try to fish downed trees near the bank in 3-8 f.o.w. and use creek chubs as that seemed to be the bait of choice. I got a 23 blue and Steve got a 22 flathead and a 30 blue. A few other small flatties were caught as well.
