I bought two different styles of circles by VMC today at Bass Pro.
    1) Cone Cut-3X strong Sure Set Circle Hook
    2)Nemesis Circle hooks

Both are 8/0 and the price was pretty good on them so I figure I'll give them a try. I'll post what I think of them in several weeks.

    Anybody else use these hooks?

I've never heard of that brand of hooks before. Let us know how they work.

I've used VMC 2/0 circle hooks and the worked about as well as the Gama hooks in the same size. Plus, you get a few more in the bag for the same price or less.

I know Rapala uses them but not sure if they are made by them.

I use VMC 13/0 perma steel saltwater long line hooks on my limb lines and for small shark fishing. They have a very large eye which is big enough to accommodate the use mil surplus 550 parachute cord. They last a very long time even in salt water. They are also very sharp and strong for their diameter.

VMC hooks that I have used are good quality. When using punch bait the 4X strong VMC are my favorite. I normally buy them at Academy Surplus here in Texas. I have never seen any of their circle hooks or big hooks. I have not been to a Bass Pro Shop in a long time, may have to put that on the " To Do List"

I buy my VMC circles at Academy in Humble, Tx, so the company does stock them. Think your Academy will order you some if you ask, or maybe you can order from them on-line, they do have an on-line store.
