We recently took a family vacation to Carolina Beach. While we were there, we did a lot of things we'd never done before! We took a moonlight cruise of the sound and saw beautiful yachts and fishing boats all around us, went to a private zoo and went on a tour of the famous U.S.S. North Carolina battleship. It was very interesting to see how the people on the ship lived and dressed. Here's about a dozen pics, enjoy.

    1) On deck 2) Marine headquarters 3) Vintage uniform

If you are not careful they will burn your mouth when u first get them, also when they get cold u could use 1for a hocky puck ,when hot they will melt in your mouth

Carole Welcome to the BOC/SOC, from So. Illinois. Thanks for sharing the pics of your trip. Enjoyed. Your boy looks like he is thinking about joining the navy.

Carole took some great photos on her vacation, and she accidentally left a few (of the zoo animals) here at my house. Thought I'd add three more animal pics. Thanks for sharing your trip C! :cool2:

    1) Giraffe 2) Lemur (I like to move it, move it!) 3) Monkey? Not sure what kind

Looks like you all had a blast! Only one question - did any of you fish?
Hopefully that lion willn't escape and make its way inland!!

I'm one of those folks that go to the coast to fish.
Play during the day and chasing drum, shark, blues, etc by night on the surf.

    Can't imagine not fishing.

Glad you had a good time. Nothing like a vacation.
