    Used to be delivered in a straw basket with straw and ice in it. Always wondered where the ice come from. LOL Come on guys I know someone besides Top and I know!!

    I got no personal experience during that time frame but heard that US military were barred from drinking locally bottled beverages due to VC putting ground glass in them and re-capping. Also San Miguel beer was hard to come by because of the regs stating it had to be in new bottles and steam cleaning made the bottles brittle and they would break. The Air Force smuggled it into Thailand and elsewhere.

    I recognized the label, but would never turn down San Miguel. Tiger only when nothing else is available

    I never drank any of that stuff, but the San Miguel got a lot of my attention, as did the German beers provided by some staff on their hospital ship at DaNang...

    OHHHHH my head hurts looking at that label. I drank a few of those when I was in Vietnam. It would make you BOOCOO dinky dao. Sometimes that old Bah muy bah tasted like water buffalo urine. I did not like it at all.
