tell ya what i don't understand about that. If that is the Mississippi and there in a wintering hole then how in the world in dirty mississippi water can you see sunlight above. I would have the think that even if the water was a clear as its ever been you couldnt see the light above if you were in say 40 feet or more of water. I talked to the electronics dept. at bass pro and they said that even in 50 feet of water at the ohio rivers clearest points It would be pitch dark at the bottom (no sunlight). Interesting though, just cant imagine thats in the mississippi. More like a lake with water that clear. I don't know though, do you think even though the mississippi has super deep holes that flatties will still hole up in say 25 feet of water?????? I just always figured that when they said wintering holes that meant some of the deeper holes in the river

I hear you, I wondered about the same things, on the depth at 2:16 it said 18' 34 deg. I really do not know much about the Mississippi river.

This is the info on the video from the person who filmed it: Using the Marcum 825c under water camera, I was able to sneek up on these Flathead catfish. Actually they are dormant in the winter and even bouncing the camera off them normally wouldn't make them move. I was surprised to see a couple swimming around. Using an under water camera is a fantastic way to see the structure that a person could fish. Many good places are just never known because they are hidden under water. Leave the rod at home and fish with a camera some time! Video take on Pool 4 of the Mississippi River just up stream from Everts Fishing Resort, Hager City, WI...near Red Wing, MN

I really enjoyed this video. The pornnnn music could have been better.....
I would love to view this with my own 2 eyes so I could judge size better. If people only knew how many shovels were really around they would have heart attacks. I recientely filled my 4 acre pond up and it is still difficult to catch them on a regular basis and I have over 12,000 lbs of fish. Just cause you do not catch them does not mean they are not around.

Its weird that they all appear to be around the same size also.....or at least from what I can tell. Nothing extremely bigger or nothing much smaller.

    Thanks for the video!
