Caught these sunday morning. Released the flats. Took 6 hours. Never would have caught the flats without this site. Caught both in 14 foot of water on bullhead about 4 inches long with a float set at 12 foot to stay out of brush. Would always get hung up fishing on bottom in this spot. Outside bend no brush showing but its down there. Got the blues on shad in a hole below a riffle in 8 foot of water.

Nice lookin fish. The Verdigris produces some nice flats all the way down to Oohlaga lake in Oklahoma. I figured the fish would be biting down south since they opened a couple of gates here at Toronto and got some water moving that way again. Oh, and it just rained like crazy so be prepared in about a week or so the bite will really pick up for a few days when they kick some more gates open.
GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN FISHIN'!!!:cool2:
