As you are likely aware, the Department of Veterans Affairs recently lost a computer drive with the identifying information (names, SSNs and dates of birth) of as many as 20 million veterans. they now know that many active and reserve servicemembers information was affected. Although there is no evidence that the data has been used illegally. if you think your infomation was stolen here is a web site you can check to seehttps://www.afpc.randolph.af.mil/checker/checker.aspx

Site refers to "Active Duty" people for me. At any rate, I received a letter from The Secretary of Veterans Affairs about this.

I got a notice to. I would love to get my hands on that workaholic that took it home in the first place. I think I would show him how to use a fishing pole instead of working all the time.

I'm a little different I guess. I am still active duty, so I had to go through the web site to find out that I was affected.
