My Mother in Law has to be on oxygen. They are planning (Wife and Mother) to travel to MO next week. We can take 8 portables plus the smaller portables and the big machine (Electric)

Can I plug the bigger machine into an inverter and eliminate the portables or is that asking for battery troubles? I will not be with them or I'd just haul along a battery or two.

I figured maybe someone has some experience with this.

    Thanks in advance,

    Shawn

Shawn, I would stick to the portables and take the big machine along for the destination.

An inverter will cook some things.
One thing I know it will cook is a cordless tool battery charger.

Shawn, if you plan ahead bottles shouldnt be a problem. There are numerous places to exchange.
We have to do the same thing.
