How do you stop the canoe before it rams the back of your truck?

ive been doin this for a few years now and it never hurt the canoe. this year though i drove down a paved street for about 100 yrds tryin to get to a feild and thats when i rubbed a hole in it. i could have gotten a ticket but ive been lucky.like i always say, if your too afraid to take chances your never gonna have any fun in life! i think it was Gone fishing for kitty's who said it best...."its only illegal if you get caught".

Oh I agree! I've done some stupid, and slightly illegal, things in my life! But I almost always have fun doing them!

I keep an old aluminum boat out back to pull behind the fourwheeler for the
kids. When I was a kid we used to pull each other around on an old knee board, now that was fun.

Gives a whole new meaning to white water. You may try epoxy resin and masking tape. Tape off the bottom and fill with resin. Perhaps taper the edges to a V so the resin has more to grip too. Leaves a little viewing port so you can see the cats. lol:)
