I ordered a new rod this week and when I checked the UPS tracking number it said my package has experienced an exception. I've never seen that message before. I'm betting it was destroyed in shipping. Has anyone else recieved this message when checking a tracking number? I was hoping to get to try it out this weekend.

When I ordered rods through the mail they always were delivered by USPS, not UPS. I know people who work for UPS and trust me they don't practice handle care if you know I mean!:beat_brick::beat_brick::0a15:

I used to work for them myself and have seen some packages meet a bad ending. I ordered it from cabela's, most other places have shipped usps. The message didn't say it had been damaged, but I expect the worst.:sad2:

I recieved it yesterday. It was undamaged. I think they just didn't scan it until it got to the facility closest to me. The first record of it is when it got scanned in Lexington, KY. Now I'm going to have to try it out this weekend.. It's a 12ft. ugly stik big water.
