I had the pleasure to help southerncats do some guiding due to a over flow of clients...I decided to take my group to upper wheeler to see what I could come up with...seeing that guntersville has started to run alot more water I thought I cold get them on some nice ones and I was right... We fished from 330 to 930 with out abite and I was starting to get a little nervous...First I tryed to anchor and that was not working so I went to drifting and drifted till it got dark and nothing ...So I decided to anchor on one of my shallow holes I usually fish in the spring and fall and it payed off about 930 with a 20,22,and a 30lber all caught on skipjack in 17feet....Violet caught her pb a 22lber and Jay got his pb a 20lber but I never got Chris his pb but he did get the biggest of the night a 30lber...Chirs had caught his pb with mike the day before a 39lber on the chick...Needless to say I had a ball and I belive they did too....hers some pics....p.s thanks to southerncats....

Thanks for the report Jason, that's the way it goes sometimes. You go hours without anything, then you hit the right spot at the right time. Those are some nice blues.

Congrats on the catch, I'm sure that you must have been nervous. I wonder what the guides do when no fish are caught??
