upper Moultrie 09/07/08

    Got on water about 8:30 and fished until 2 when thunderstorm started showing up. Drifting in 28 to 14 feet of water. Caught two blues. One weighed about 6 lbs before I let him go and other just got off at boat. He was small two. May have gotten one other bite. The bite was really slow. Frozen blue back and worms for bait. They both hit the herring.
    Other than being muggy (HOT) it was really nice day on water. water temp 84 degrees and gentle breeze just barely enough to drift. Not may people out on this end of lake today. See you on water:smile2:

    Thanks again, John. Glad to hear the report. Jerry, the levels have come up a foot plus but are still about 3-4 ft below full. Still on a slow rise, though, so the shallows may be the best place to be; who knows?
