Fished yesterday from about 4:30pm to midnight, between the dam and the 80 mile marker, caught about 15 fish total, with 6 over 10 lbs. Big fish was 18 lbs., caught within the first 10 minutes. The bite was better before sunset than after - we only caught 3 fish from 9pm to midnight.

Doesn't look to me like they're spawning yet - none of the big fish were beat up even a little bit, and all of the 5-8 lb females we cleaned had lots of eggs.

Shad was easy to find in Drake Harbor, though the size was a little smaller than I wanted.

    Water temp was 76-77 degrees.

Think I talked to you at the dock last night, I was loading up and you said that the biggest you had was 18 or so. I had a nice fish on but the hook ended up pulling out. Think it was a flathead. Chris

Hey Chris - I thought that might have been you, sorry I didn't ask you at the time. The dog was a dead giveaway, but it was midnight and I was worn out... I'll stop next time I see you down there...
