They released my son in law today from St.Louis university hospital today after his 15 day battle with Neisseria meningitidis that caused swelling in the brain . They did not think he was going to make it , and said if he did he would be blind , deaf , mute , or menatlly retarded . Well he has proved them wrong . He walked out of there on his own and is almost at 100% besides being a little weak . He was in a coma for 5 days in i.c.u . I want to thank all of you who sent your prayers . The doctors are amazed at his recovery . he was pretty bad with the brain swelling and both lungs colasping having a breathing machine and all and now he is home and almost 100% . They said they think it was all started from a mosqitoe bite . So be sure and use skeeter dope when out fishing . Thank you all very much .
