Carrie Underwood wins best new female vocalist. Vince Gill receives humanitarian award, then gives it to a "Make a Wish" foundation child in the audience. If only they could have avoided using that darned old Tony Stewart as a presenter!

(Vince has always been a giver as well as a great artist and musician.
(Couldn't believe the song big and rich sang bout nam. Touched me, great one!)

Something I thought I'd never see: Kelly Clarkson singing with Rascal Flatts! I missed the Big and Rich number.

Keith brother, I gotta argue with ya there. Carrie's CD is deffinately a country one. My favorite song on it is "I ain't in Checotah anymore" another great song that if released should top the country charts is "The night before life goes on"

I really enjoyed the tribute to Buck Owens.
I'm not a Big and Rich fan cause I can't stand Rap in my Country music.
Carrie Underwood is going to go a long way in Country music, I love to hear her sing.
Reba was looking VERY HOT, that is one good lookin redhead.

I agree with you Al big and rich suck in my book. Carrie underwood has a very long bright future ahead of her and hope to hear a lot more of her stuff in the years to come. not to bad for being 21 yers old. And Reba always looks good.

I've often wondered what the purpose of Brooks was in Brooks and Dunn. He seems to do nothing that a regular band member doesn't do.

I thought the best line by Reba was about the Dixie Chicks, the reaction from the crowd was great too. I think if it was not obvious before it is now, the Dixie Chicks are now not wanted in Country music.

Reba McEntire, hosting the show for an eighth time, also took a shot at country music's newest outlaws, the Dixie Chicks.
"I don't know why I was so nervous about hosting this show this year," she said.
If the Dixie Chicks can sing with their foot in their mouths, surely I can host this sucker."

    4 u Mellon...i finally found it.
