where's a good place under the dam when they're runnin this much water. im planning a trip down there soon. i was just going to tie up to the cable in front of the gen. scour holes. anybody got any other ideas, i.e. any sweet spots on the bouy line. its my first time down there with running 10000fps.

How big of a boat do you have? I usually don't fish there in a boat (I fish off the wall) but if you tie up even with the retaining wall and throw at the end of it or to the west side. The fish hold in there where the water curls are the end of the wall. If you hit a big striper he will probably run toward the turbines If it is a catfish he will go which ever way he is headed when he hit the bait.

If you tie up to the cable DO NOT UNTIE UNTIL YOU HAVE THE MOTOR STARTED. If they have flood gates open it creates a back flow and will pull you in.

I saw a big pontoon destroyed that got caught and pull in. Both guys drown.
