I took this on Wilson Lake on the Tennessee River, This is one of my "secret" spots.. when I got there I couldnt believe my eyes...HUNDREDS of blue cats feeding vertically on yellowtail shad..there were everywhere..along this concrete wall..you could pick out which one you wanted to catch and drop a shad in its mouth..they were feeding vertically, sucking the minnows in when they swam by..I have never seen anything like this in 35 years of fishing...We caught a boat load, all were 5-10 pounds, I kept 3 and cleaned them, the cats stomachs had hundreds if not thousands of shad in them..the stomach actually looked like a football...I have one more video I took with my little camera, the next day i'll try to get it posted later this week..this video was with my daughters phone.. I went back 2 days later and there was not a single cat to be seen...the biggest one I saw was about 25 pounds..

It was like that at Warsaw Mo. this year a few times only there they were huge and stretched out for hundreds of yards. Lots in the 20 to 50 lb range. There were thousands upon thousands. I had seen them there before a few years back like that.

    Amazing video.
I love it when people think catfish are sluggish fish.
