Ugly fish

    i was fishin today and i caught this really ugly fish, it kinda looked almost like an eel and it had a black dot on it's tail it also had green fins. Anyone know what it was. Ive caught a few and ive killed of them.

    sounds like a dog fish to me man. unless your in erie it may be a burbot??? but sounds like a dogfish. i think there actually called bowfin im not sure. in michigan the used to pay people to get em out of the lakes and rivers

    i would say you caught a bowfin or better known as a dogfish around here

    i think it was a mudfish. thats what it looked like. are they good for anything?

    By the picture a mudfish and a bowfin are the same I Have Taken a couple Bowfin here in Ohio while bowfishing in A river near my house.
