    This is it for now.:cool2:

These are the under-wraps, showing the tags cut-off at the ends and burnished well, along with the center inlays showing where they start and stop on the underside of the blank..

Spinning the blank while burnishing the edge of the inlays or tag ends ,will allow you to adjust your thread to get a true straight line around your blank as shown.

Thanks Bros, First and foremost I would like to give God all the Glory for allowing me to live and build these fine pieces of fish fighting equipment, among all other things I use my hands and skills for.

I do have a shop- My desk LOL..:smile2: With 2 business License's hanging and still cannot keep up..Work is slow out there..man I hope it picks up.:cool2:.

I build strictly 1 Custom Rod at a time, for the man or woman that would order it. There is many variables in customs built for a individual, from arm length to every aspect of the rod and what type of fish it will be used for, among others..It takes a few hrs to go through all the components, blanks, handles just to get started:wink:

Cannot compete with production rods, who buy in bulk and build in assembly.
All the rods are built the same for everybody. That is not a custom rod. Not to say I cannot commission someone to build a few at a time, because I have talked to just the man to do the job. But we'll see after I get things together.I have IMHO, designed one of the best rods for blue cats and flats. That I have ever used, along with a couple of life long cat fishermen that has used them and agrees 100%. Its Absolutely a fine tuned tool. Pulls in 40# fish with little to no work/load on the fisherman,The rod does it all, making you think that its just a small 4# fish:wink:Its amazing what it feels like..

I'll stick to fine customs myself, later I might have some built.

Tight Lines To all This Year..
