What are the best knots for tying power pro to the backing line on the reel. I have my 7000c3 filled with about 30 yds of 30 lb. big game and was wanting to connect my 100 lb. power pro to it. I've read where the uni knot is the best, I was wondering how you all put your lines together. THANKS.

The albrite knot is designed for this. Give it a shot it works. Used it when I went through the million pound test power pro phase. LOL!

Hey thanks for all the help, I'll get some small extra pieces of power pro and mono and practice the knot. Also I was wondering what mono poundage would be good for a leader on the 100 power pro, I was figuring about 50 or above, I know that big game gets real thick and stiff when much above 30 lb. test so would you use the same knot as for the backing and how do you get the knot nice and tight, it's pretty difficult to get a large mono diameter line tight.

Double Uni-knot works very well for tying braid to mono backing.
