Found 2 weeks ago N of Grainvalley. One was still alive and had to be dispatched. Notice the drop tine on the one on the right.

What is up with the bucks this year! They seem to be getting it on about a month early. Thanks for sharing but still hate to see em go that way.

Hard to believe that they were found locked together 2 weeks ago. They usually dont fight that hard until just before the rut. Thanks for sharing Bluejay.

These were 2 weeks ago. It has been 11 days since I found the ones in my pond. Also heard of another pair but I do not have pictures of those. These are just the ones found. Makes me wonder how many have not been found.
I find it ironic that it was 2 10 pointers and 2 13 pointers.

Those are two nice bucks and hate to see them go that way, but that's the way nature intended.. Does the one buck have two drop tines? In the 2nd picture it looks like the buck on the left has 2 drops coming off his left main beam!

It does look that way. Did not get to see them yet in person. Was e-mailed to me by Conservation staff.

I can't believe they found two bruisers like that locked up already. You usually don't see that type of stuff till the middle of October AT LEAST!

Might be pricey, but that would make a nice shoulder mount with them still locked together. I've seen it done before and thought it was pretty neat!
