What is the line rating on the new rod? How would it match with a 6500?

The rating is 20-50lb but I run 100 lb braid on mine and always have buddy. My tournament partner runs 6500's on all his rods and they do a great jib for him. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask or even PM me...

Andrew I have all my 6500s on TWC Rods, they are the perfect rod for those reels in my opinion. Rod has great backbone, its light weight but still powerful. I have 6 of the TWC Rods, I use 65LB PP and have used up to 10oz with them with no problems. I used to have other rods with 80LB PP, everything worked fine. Jeremy Can answer any questions you have with those rods.
