You can consider the new cat boat properly slimed. Caught 8 cats saturday morning.

As part of the learning curve. My partner rolled the biggest one out of the net on the back deck. He flopped towards the motor. I tried to grab him twice but he slipped out of my grip and went in the water. 15 / 16 pound blue.

Made 2 small brackets. They mount in the suremount rail. Loop some velcro thru them and strap down patio umbrella. Tucked in next to rail and under trolling motor. Nice to get it out of the way when not needed.

Got my windshield mounted. Also bought some 3/4" plastic bar. Mounted to top of console to keep things from sliding off while riding. 20200607_083310.jpg 20200607_083616.jpg 20200607_115439.jpg

Didnt have a good place to store my bait knives.
I ordered some 1/2" UV resistant plastic. Traced the outline of the blades and used a router to make slots in one piece. Bolted to console next to where cooler will sit.

    Very nice. Good job.
    Duck boats are tuff.
    Thicker metal.
Beefed up on edges that make contact with logs or sand bars.
I bought an older xpress duck boat with a new etec on it. Like it a lot. It was used for hunting. Been slowly bending it towards fishing. You got your like I wish mine was. Great job.
    I'm happy for you.
