Tulsa boat show starts the middle of next week through Sunday. Time to see what I can't afford. I don't know who plans on going this year but I heard Jeff Williams will be doing catfish seminars this year. I'm not quite sure on the times but i think he will be doing them Thurs through Sun. I'll probably be going on Friday afternoon and part of the evening before the zoo of all the people on the weekend.

Looking forward to it this year. I have a few questions for the Lowarance booth about new products.

Can't wait to get some fresh ideas for a t-top or equipment arch for my center console. Then the idea of a table off the back end for a fish cleaning station and storage. Guess I just need to learn to weld aluminum or find someone willing to help with this project, LOL.

Anyways, looking forward to another good year.

I hope they have some center consoles there to look at. I can look at pics and brochures online. After going out with guides in Lousiana and Oklahoma and fishing from a center console, I gotta have one. It is so convenient to be able to circle the perimeter of the boat with a fish on, without having to dodge a side console. There is no such thing as a perfect boat for fishing, but to me, a large center console comes as near as anything.

My grandson and his buddy are on me like white on rice to see Twiggy. I thought the trip was for me to take a look at a lot of boats and fishin' stuff, but apparently my 20 bucks for the wife and I will be admission to see the squirrel. Oh well, at least the kids get in free.........

All I can offer in consolation, Jeff, is that you should be very, very grateful they didn't book your seminar at the same time as Twiggy. You might then be teaching catfishing 101 to empty chairs. I mean, we love ya, man, but you gotta understand.....THIS IS TWIGGY!!! At least that is the take those two 7 year-olds have on the subject.

Yea, I had no idea that TWIGGY was a force to be reconend with! I sure am glad TWIGGY won't be in St.Louis MO, Des Moines IA and Grove OK. Bummer for the kids though!

I will have to check more carefully next year and find out where all the stiff competiton is going to be! WOW!

I, for one, am planning on being at Jeff's seminar on Thursday night. An excellent excuse to go and browse. Last year, I bought my travel trailer.....who knows what this year will bring???

Wish I could talk Hook into selling me his. It wouldn't cost as much as a new one. Sweet boat, for sure. The new one on the board looks good too.

I've asked Vanessa to take me on Sat for my birthday. We will see if I will get to go this year. I've tried the past 3 years and stuff has come up each year to prevent me from getting to go.

If I get to go, I hope to get to see the sea ark, big easy. It looks like 1 SWEET boat for a family.

Well, Donna and I went this evening and caught the seminar by Jeff. EXCELLENT!! His approach to fishing, anchoring and utilizing your electronics and GPS is why he's successful as a guide. I was really hoping to see the WeldPro Boat but it wasn't there.
I'm hoping to be able to hook up with him at some point and fish Grand Lake for some good sized fish,:wink:

Hope more of you can make it and meet this valuable member of the BOC.
