Clear, concise and too the point. Kutter was somewhere close if it rained. He called in a deluge at the gathering.:eek:oooh:

Come on Bill, let the cat out of the bag already!!!:confused2::smile2: I wanted to go today, but I just got home from the lake, been there since Friday. I should have went this evening after I got home, I actually still have the boat hooked up to my truck. If it weren't for having to unpack everything, I wouldve went out tonight for sure. On another note....I was on the lake all weekend, It was sure nice not have to deal with floodwater, trash, or an a## load current for a change!:smile2::wink:

That's it. It's over for fishing reports. The ratman was the last man to post an actual fishing report on the main board......and now that's done. I don't blame him.

    Okay okay okay.........................

Started the day by spending an hour and a half trying to find bait...not easy :confused2:

Finally found some shad, skipeye and asian...enough to wet a line anyway.

Found some flooded out willows in about 8-10 foot of water with a sand bottom and thats where we caught all the fish. Water temp was 69-70* so I decided to try the asians and those blues are eating the asians now...shad...nothing...skipeye...always seem to work, but the asians are a good choice of bait now and they're easy to get cause they're everywhere.

When the sun came out though, the fish moved out of the shallows to places unknown :confused2: but we had a few good hours of fishing...even caught my first flathead of the year!

Great avatar BILL! I still bet that what 5-6 pounder hit like a train and for about 2 minutes he thought he was 100 pounds.......LOL. Them biguns just give up to quick for the "fight factor" but them lil ones try everything they can to get unhooked...... then again that might be a 10 pounder I have to remember who is holding it, :smile2: :smile2:
