Tube bait

    my little brother bought some capatla worm tube bait, and some little holders for it, is this stuff any good??

    i used it a few times and it was ok. not as good as shad. if you bait and area it will catch fish.

    thanks mabye it can be a backup bait when we are out of bait

    My experience is that none of the stink bait works well in the winter. I do use some of it in the summer, when I want to go get some eaters. I live in north Mo. about 60 miles north of you and I fish small rivers and if you don't use stink bait or bait so big they are afraid of it, the gars will drive you nuts.

    I've tried everything from catfish magic bait, berkley power catfish, and howild dip. I have never even had a decent hit on any of them. If after eating size channels, i use liver or worms. Big fish-bluegills shad or cut carp. Hope you have better luck than i did.
