You really used grasshopers? How do you rig them up? I have a ton of those little guys around. The chickens might get mad if I take em but oh well

Chris, grasshoppers is kind of a running joke, a old man, was telling some stories about grasshoppers, when someone, ask him what he caught the fish on he would allways say grassshoppers, regardless, what time of year.
Yes they are good bait at certain times, cats ,bas perch and gar will hit them always hear the yellow ones, don't know if color makes a difference.

Ya did good there Jim, you da man for finding em... I've been using those asian grasshoppers that just fly into your boat, they make a pretty fair bait at that  ... how deep are ya finding them? With the water dropping here we're finding them from around 35 to 45 feet deep... I know they have dropped Truman and was wondering if that moved em deep there... Congrats buddy on the awesome night on the water.

Last sat,8/2/ 30 feet, this sat. 1 to 3 feet, they had chased some shade, up a running branch, about 5' wide and were feeding heavy on 2 to 3 inch shad.
    were acting like white bass.
still think, some are holding, in 20 to 30' of water.
