Last monday and tuesday i had school off, so me and my dad decided to go down to truman below the dam. we caught acouple walleye each, mine being the small ones as usual, but my dad did manage to land a 20" walleye. they actually werent out that deep, luckily we didnt have to throw our arms out trying to get out little 3/8 ouncers out there. they were only about 35 feet our from the bank. the jigs we were using(some might know what im talking about if you fish truman)"Slabhunters", a jig made locally that really works. blue/white, chartroose, and glow white seemed to be the colors. but i would give it another week or two before the fish really start picking back up.
