    IM GOIN DOWN TO TABLE ROCK WEDNESDAY THE 15 FOR VACATION BUT I WONT BE TAKIN MY BOAT WITH ME...I WAS WONDERIN IF I STOPPED AT TRUMAN DAM IF THERE IS GOOD CATFISHING FROM SHORE THERE???

    I've seen a lot of big catfish caught in the no boating zone up there. You just have to get there early enough and hope you get a good hole. Everytime I have went, I had to fish right besides the hole I wanted to fish and the people sitting where I wanted to be caught good fish each time.

    With the hot weather and them slowing down the current the fishing pressure has really let up in the last week.

    Below the dam on the west side would be my suggestion since they have the spillway gates closed on the east side now. The generators are on the west side and that is where the current will be.
