Sounds like a lot of work to me. The simple rigs take less time to tie on after you get hung up. And you will get hung up.

Let us know how it works - and post pictures of the rig you're using.

Well i went Thursday into Friday morning and had a real good night the biggest fish was only 17 lbs but the balloon slip float rig worked great and i only got hung up once and it came off fairly easy. Next time I drift this set up at night I'm gonna use a small glow stick in the balloon.
I did how ever miss two huge bites on my regular drifting rig ???????

Sounds like the balloon rig did you right. Congrats on your catches.

At what angle do you set your rod holders???
My theory is the closer you are to the water the higher the rod tip needs to point is that right?
I come to this conclusion after missing those two fish last week end.
The fish never did load the rod up because of how hard they hit and the lower angle that the rods where set at.
Does that sound right to any one.
