Went off shore with a buddy Friday in his charter boat. He had found a new spot that was loaded with True Red Snappers. In about an hour we had put 10 in the cooler, ranged in size from 21 to 24 inches. Had about 20 throw backs. After limiting out on the Snappers we moved to another spot and caught about 25 Bluefish and Sea bass. Altho several were legal size we released them all to fight another day as we already had a cooler full of the best eating fish in the water. One 4 foot lemon shark, 1 big blue runner and and unknown Biggie that broke off after a 15 minute fight rounded out the day. Not bad for a 4 hour trip.. Gotta love living in NE Florida. 81 degrees and light breezes. Just finished supper with baked red snapper, cole slaw and oven fried potatos....Will try to get a pic posted later..
