Trout NMC and I caught this year

    These are some trout NewMexicoCatfisher and I caught landed this summer. He outfished me but, I had fun!:big_smile:

    Seth will pull out the fly rod sometimes, but we mainly lure fish.

    do you flyfish?? i'm tell'n ya you pick up a flyrod you'll be hooked specialy
    going up high in those rivers and cicks .

    Yeah I will occasionally, but i always land the minnows on it. I'm seeking that trophy like the one seth caught, a nice 5.2lber. I like fly fishing for Bluegills and Carp alot.

    Those are some beautiful trout there ....Thats one fish i love to go after in the high serria's of north cali you can't beat that with a light rod and reel and 4 pound test line:wink:

    Or the overlooked high mountains of New Mexico! I agree with the ultralight

    not really that much carp down here were i live , there'sa few ponds round here that have gills in them i'm teaching my 13 yr old how too flyfish he thinks it awsome busting them gills , i get a kick out of it as well . i cought a few Bass last summer on my flyrod that was someth'n else i've been tring to catch a channel on it maybe 09 it will happen :roll_eyes::roll_eyes: .

    Wow, those are some beatiful trout. Are they wild trout? I been slaying the trout out here , but they planted trout.
    Demetrius, do you have wild trout in those rivers and streams?

    All of those trout are pure wild rainbows.. They are from glacial lakes in Pecos Wilderness Area about 11,000 ft up. No roads within a 5 miles

    yes, plenty of rivers , streams ,cricks , canals loaded with rainbows , german browns . the only thing that sux's round here is your limit , resivors , lakes man made pond your limit is 4 , rivers, streams your limit is 2 . there's also a lot of golden state water around here artfical bait's only and must release all fish .

    man i miss being up in the mountains. that's some purty county yall have there! i have spent days on days walking the animas, san juan, la plata, and cimarron rivers. good times!

    those are all awesome size for wild trout! most of the wild rainbows i catch in va are 10-12 inches and the wild brooks are around 7 or 8. i do catch some big stockers. last feb i caught my pb brown a few miles from where they stocked, it was just over 11 pounds.
