Bill, is the insignia inset into the wood? The wood is cherry isn't it? If not it sure does look like it.

    Jim,
The wood is cutoffs of beech from the entrainment center that where to short for shelves. The finish is about 12 coats of tung oil that was hand rubbed several times between coats. The silver part is a wall plaque that I glued on with " super glue".

Bill that wood sure does look good with the tung oil. It sure does look like cherry, it is really sharp.
