On August 16, 2009 Jeff Beard was fishing on Lake Norman and caught a 75 pound Ark. Blue. It measured 52 inches long and was caught on a Blue Back Herring, according to Beard. I have seen the picture of this cat, sad to say, it was drying out. In the photo of Jeff B. and his catfish, he is holding it upright and it is hard to tell if it had a big stomach, also, Jeff B. did not measure the girth.

The trophy blue that Jeff (bowlerman) caught earlier this year was 67 pounds and it had a length of 48" and a girth of 36". Jeff Manning released his catfish alive for others to enjoy catching at a later date. I added bowlerman's fish for comparison purposes.

Why are all the Jeff's catching trophy cats?
