Does anyone use a trolling motor on their pontoon? If so how large must one be to push/pull a 24ft pontoon? Any info would be great - thanks!!

You need is five pounds of thrust for every 200 pounds of weight.

    A boat that weighs 1,500 pounds, and has a maximum weight capacity of 1,200 pounds would need a motor with 67.5 pounds of thrust. (1,500 lbs. + 1,200 lbs. ÷ 200 = 13.5 x 5= 67.5

Have you gone to the Minnkota and Motorguide websites and used the product selectors? Minnkota is showing a range of 80-101 lb thrust for your pontoon.
Minnkota's option is called Select A Motor and was at the very top of the website page.
